Welcome to Island Boy Camp
Our mission is to empower our players to be successful tomorrow. Our goal is to teach young athletes fundamental football skills while building their confidence, character, integrity, work ethic and sportsmanship. We hope to teach our players respect for the game, but more importantly respect for themselves, their peers, and their community.

About Island Boy Camp
Island Boy Camp (IBC) started with 4 brothers, 3 cousins, and 1 very good friend. Michael Fuimaono, Alexander Fuimaono, Nicholas Fuimaono, Christopher Fuimaono, Funaki Letisi, Paulo Futi, Brando Tapusoa, and Boone Marker were volunteer coaches for flag and tackle teams for the Boys and Girls Club when they created IBC.
It was very clear in the beginning that this Aiga or Family had a lot to share with their players. Their personal experience with football and their life experiences made it easy for them to connect with their players, particularly those who were struggling in school and at home. What started as a single season of coaching has extended to just under 10 fun and challenging years of football with our kids.
Island Boy Camp is a nonprofit organization registered with the state. Our goal is to be the best youth sports program in the state. We aim to provide as many opportunities for all the players we work with in the hopes of getting them prepared for the next level of play. We hope to teach our players lessons on life. We continue to work mainly in the Salem-Keizer area, but we are building relationships with coaches around the state.
Island Boy Camp Family Day
August 18th has been declared, by Governor Kate Brown, as Island Boy Camp Family Day in recognition for our work with the youth in our community.
